Tearmann aoibhinn, fianaise ar stair na muintire, údar cheiliúrtha ar shaothar na nglúnta a bhí, lón anama dá bhfuil le teacht.

Connecting people with culture, creativity, nature & landscape in a restored 17th century hill-village on 200 acres of natural wilderness.

“Cnoc Suain is not preserving Irish [Gaelic] language, music, traditions and crafts to enshrine them. This is no theme park; it is a place of living culture, oozing with pride and determination to share some of the joys of its heritage.” The Irish Times

Surrounded by ancient blanket bogland, overlooking mountains, river, lake, and sea, Cnoc Suain is an award-winning cultural retreat. In this restored 17th century Connemara hill-village, visitors enjoy creative cultural experiences and stays.

Located in the Gaelic-speaking area of Connemara(Gaeltacht), Cnoc Suain offers a unique window into Irish Gaelic culture, past and present. Close to nature, our sustainably restored cottages are available for private rental at certain times of the year.
