An Baile Íochtar (The Lower Village) is the residential quarter of Cnoc Suain which is completely reserved for staying guests. It is situated approximately 150m from the family residence.

An Baile Íochtar comprises of four cottages - An Nead (one-bed), An Saileog Rua (one-bed), An Sceach Gheal (two-bed) & its adjoining twin thatch cottage, An Cíob (tw0-bed).

To ensure privacy and peace for all guests, only two cottages are available for self-catering stays in An Baile Íochtar - An Sceach Gheal (two-bedroom) & An Nead (one-bedroom).
